PREPARATION PRAYER
All (kneel):
My dear Jesus, you carried your cross
and allowed yourself to be hurt because you love me and wanted to save me from my sins.
Too often I have forgotten how much you love me.
Help me to be sorry for my sins and to love you with my whole heart
as I remember how you suffered and died for me upon the cross.
Amen

All (kneel):
My good and dear Jesus,
as I kneel before You,
and reflect upon your sacrifice of love for me upon the cross,
I ask You to help me to know your love for me,
to be sorry for my sins,
to be faithful in loving you,
and to always try to be good,
so that I may be pleasing to You my Lord,
who gave up your life for me.
Amen
